Tape Method for Decorating Easter Eggs

Welcome to the 4th post in my Easter series!

Tape Method for Decorating Easter Eggs

Materials:

hard boiled eggs (don't know how? learn here)

(masking) tape

warm water

vinegar

bowls & spoons

liquid food coloring

Instructions:

Cut out masking tape in shapes you want.

Put tape on egg to make pattern/design. Make sure you press the tape on firmly so the dye doesn't bleed in on the edges.

Put enough (warm) water in each bowl to completely cover the egg.

Add a tablespoon of vinegar to each bowl. This will make the dye last longer on the egg.

Add desired amount of dye to each bowl depending on the colors you want.

Put the egg in the bowl and let sit until completely dyed.

Take out egg and let dry. I set them on a drying rack.

Once dry, carefully peel off tape.

Remember to do it carefully or this might happen!

Enjoy your fun and tasty Easter eggs!
