Easter Basket Gift Ideas for Teen Guys and Girls (and What NOT to Give Them)

As you know, Easter is coming up. And since I am on Spring Break this week, I'll be posting tons of Easter related posts.

So today's post will be...

25 Easter Basket Ideas for Teens (Girls and Guys)

By the way...   ** = best idea ever :)

1. giftcards giftcards and more gift cards... I know teens love these because I am one! (for girls and guys) ********

2. Sunglasses (girls and guys)

3. Flip flops (girls and guys) **

4. Movie Tickets (girls and guys) **

5. Cologne or perfume

6. Earrings (girls)

7. Bracelets and necklaces (technically girls and guys, but girls would most likely enjoy more)

8. nail polish - or nail accessories (nail filer, nail pen, stickers, etc) (girls)

9. lotion (both girls and guys)

10. cell phone case (both girls and guys), but make sure you know what kind of phone they have

11. chapstick (both) or lipstick/lipgloss (girls)

12. journal (both)

13. wallet (both)

14. magazine (both)

15. cool pens (sharpies, markers... not just regular crayola) (both)

16. sports, movie, band (etc.) poster (both)

17. frisbee (both)

18. gum (both) **

19. mug (both)

20. candy, chocolate (both... obviously)

21. earbuds/headphones (both)

22. portable chargers (both) **

23. watch (both)

24. book light (both)

25. reusable water-bottle - Camelbaks are best (both)

As I was browsing through other blogs to get ideas for this post, I was surprised to find out how many terrible ideas there were.
I kept thinking to myself "No teenager would want that!" So here is what NOT to give a teen...

Do NOT Give a Teenager...

1. toothbrush - Teens are completely capable of buying one themselves, and they are only about $4

2. Erasers - Teens will most likely never use them or they'll get lost

3. Stickers - Teens don't want them and will probably not use them

4. Clothes - Unless you are a parent or close friend... do NOT buy teens clothes... you don't know their fashion sense or size

5. Dental Floss

6. Shaving cream or soap - thanks but no thanks

7. Stuffed animals - Teens may think its cute and all, but that feeling will last about two days

8. Flower seeds - No teen will "have time" for that

9. Deodorant - that's just awkward... and kinda insulting

10. Disposable razors - Sure we'll use it but it's not want we want for Easter
